Prime Minister Donald Tusk of Poland has rejected a Russian draft report on a plane crash which killed the Polish president in April.

All 96 people on board died when the plane crashed in thick fog near Smolensk airport in western Russia.

Mr Tusk said the report, did not comply fully with the Chicago Convention which regulates international air travel.

The BBC reports Poland's first couple - along with other leading political and military figures - were on their way to a memorial ceremony for the Katyn massacre World War II when their plane crashed in poor weather on 10 April.
