An Israeli air strike has killed five people in the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli military says the strike targeted 'a squad of terror operatives', who were 'preparing to launch rockets towards Israeli territory'.
Rocket fire from Gaza has dropped sharply since a 22-day offensive by Israel in December 2008 - January 2009.
Hamas, the group which controls the Gaza Strip, says it has tried to stop rocket fire aimed at Israel.
According to the Israeli Defence Force, 180 rockets and mortars have been fired into Israel in 2010 to date.
