Thirty-six people have been rescued from a cinema complex in the central New South Wales town of Bathurst after ceilings collapsed.
Four ceilings collapsed on Metro Cinema patrons during a storm on Monday afternoon but most people had time to duck under their seats before the ceilings hit the ground.
Some have reportedly been treated for minor injuries.
Emergency services used thermal imaging cameras to look for those trapped inside.
