Tasmania's first female premier is to be sworn-in on Monday.
Lara Giddings was selected by the Labor Party to replace colleague David Bartlett who quit the top job on Sunday to spend more time with his young family.
Ms Giddings, 38, will continue to govern in an alliance with the Greens, which have two members in the minority government cabinet, the ABC reports.
