The Bulls beat Canterbury 36-23 in the Super 14 rugby semi-final in Pretoria on Saturday.
Flyhalf Morne Steyn set a Super 14 record with four drop goals. He also kicked three conversions and a penalty for 21 points.
The champion 2007 home team led 27-20 at halftime.
The result means the Bulls will host the final in Pretoria against the Chiefs next Saturday.
On Friday night, the Chiefs beat the Hurricanes 14-10 in Hamilton.
