In Australia, saltwater crocodiles are causing concern for a remote Northern Territory community as floodwaters there continue to rise.

The Daly River community, 220 kilometres south-west of Darwin, is flooded, with the river at more than 14 metres and rising.

The river is renowned for crocodiles and a resident says one was spotted outside the health clinic.

The resident says people are trapped in their homes and are not game to wade through the floodwaters.
