Christie's says a giant yellow teddy bear is to be sold at auction in New York in May.
The bronze structure of a bear slumped under a black bedside lamp will be on display for five months in Manhattan from next week.
Weighing 15.8 tonnes, the sculpture, Untitled (Lamp/Bear) is the work of New York-based Swiss artist Urs Fischer. It was one of three created in 2005/06.
Christie's says its owner has already turned down a private offer of $US9 million.
