A would-be suicide bomber wearing an army uniform has killed at least people in the Defence Ministry building in the Afghanistan capital.
Officials say the man gained entry by showing a ministry pass before opening fire in Kabul, the BBC reports.
Those killed include the bodyguard of the deputy Defence Minister. Several others were wounded.
The attacker is reported to have been shot dead before he could detonate the explosives strapped to his body.
