The hat that Princess Beatrice wore to the royal wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton at Westminister Abbey is to be auctioned for charity.
The taupe creation by Philip Treacy, described as pretzel-like in shape, has inspired a Facebook page called Princess Beatrice's Ridiculous Royal Wedding Hat. It has attracted nearly 140,000 fans.
Her mother, Sarah Ferguson, told US talk show host Oprah Winfrey the hat will be auctioned on eBay.
''She's putting it up on eBay to auction it for UNICEF and for children in crisis,'' she said.
Princess Beatrice, 22, wore the hat with a Valentino outfit.
