The number of people with swine flu to have died in New South Wales has doubled to 10, taking the national toll in Australia to 29.
The ABC reports the victims include a boy, aged nine years, and a man in his 20s whose death is a mystery.
Tests have confirmed another four people had swine flu when they died in recent days.
NSW chief medical officer Dr Kerry Chant says all of them had underlying health problems.
Some 10,387 H1N1 cases are confirmed nationwide.
