Plane crashes in remote part of Argentina

A plane has crashed in Argentina's remote Patagonian region, killing all 19 passengers and three crew members on board.

The Saab 340 turboprop plane, operated by the regional airline Sol, crashed in an area with few roads in the province of Rio Negro.

A statement from the airline said the plane sent an emergency call about 8.50pm on Wednesday local tima and was not heard from again, Reuters reports.
