Japanese electronics giant Sony has reported fresh hacking attacks on a number of its websites.

The company says the personal data of 2000 consumers was stolen from a Sony Ericsson website in Canada, while details of 8000 users were leaked on the Sony Music Entertainment website in Greece.

The company says e-mails, passwords and phone numbers of users were stolen, but no credit card details have been lost.

Both the websites were externally hosted by third parties and are not connected to its main network, Sony says.
