Barca are European Champions again

Barcelona beat Manchester United 3-1 in the European Champions League final.

Barcelona comprehensively outplayed Manchester United throughout.

First to score at Wembley stadium in London on Saturday was Pedro in the 27th minute for Barcelona after a pass from his captain Xavi.

Wayne Rooney equalised for Manchester United in the 34th minute.

The score was 1-1 at half-time.

Lionel Messi, the world's best player, put Barcelona back into the lead early in the second half.

He also created the next goal for David Villa in the 69th minute.

The two teams last met in the final in 2009 in Rome, when Barcelona won 2-0.

It was the fourth league victory for the Spanish champions. Manchester United had won it three times.

Barcelona's side included six starters from the 2009 final.
