3:47 pm on 10 August 2009

Australia beat England by an innings and 80 runs in the fourth Ashes cricket Test on Sunday to level the series at 1-1.

The series will be decided in the final match at the Oval in London next week. It will be the first time since 1965-66 the two sides go into the last match of an Ashes series with the scores tied.

Australia only need to draw the Test, starting on Thursday week, to retain the Ashes.

Australia picked up the last two wickets 20 minutes after lunch on the third day to dismiss the hosts for 263 in their second innings.

Man of the match was the Australian Marcus North.
