Two of Saddam Hussein's half-brothers and three former regime officials have been handed over by the United States military to Iraqi authorities.
They are all under sentence of death for crimes against humanity and are expected to be executed in the next month.
Watban Ibrahim Hassan and Sabawi Ibrahim al-Tikriti were put on a most-wanted list when the US military invaded Iraq in 2003.
Saddam was executed in December 2006.
The handover on Thursday was part of the American withdrawal from Iraq, with military bases, jails and prisoners being handed over to the Iraqis.
