A Qantas flight out of Johannesburg has been turned around after experiencing engine trouble.
An overheating engine was shut down after it experienced an increase in vibration and temperature.
The incident happened about an hour into the flight and the plane returned to Johannesburg.
The ABC reports it was carrying the South African rugby team to Australia.
The Springboks are due to play Australia in their opening match of the Tri Nations in Sydney on 23 July.
