President Hamid Karzai convincingly won last week's presidential election in Afghanistan, according to Finance Minister Hazrat Omar Zakhilwal.
He says Mr Karzai won the vote in a single round, with about 68% of the vote.
Mr Zakhilwal says the president's vote included support across the country, including in the north, making the result impervious to a challenge of fraud in unstable areas in the south.
The results have been challenged by the opposition.
