The tiny Cook Islands atoll of Aitutaki has had what is thought to be its first bank robbery, and the 2000 residents are said to be stunned.
Police are not confirming reports the bank was secured by a single padlock but it's thought more than $NZ200,000 has been taken.
Extra police have been flown in to investigate, the ABC reports.
