A Ngati Whatua kapa haka group has been invited to perform next year at a festival in Finland.
Kahurangi ki Kaipara is a whanau group whose youngest member is five years old and its oldest 20.
The invitation came through iwi member and photographer Margaret Kawharu, who made a visit to Finland.
She told Waatea News it was too good an opportunity to turn down and she hopes to arrange performances at other festivals so the children can make the most of their trip.
