A magnitude 6.4 earthquake occurred off the coast of Canada on Saturday.
The US Geological Survey says the quake was 23km beneath the seabed.
It was centred off the coast in the Pacific Ocean, 281km from Vancouver.
There were reports of slight rattling further south in the city of Seattle, Washington, USA, but no reports of damage.
No tsunami warning was issued.
The quake was initially reported as magnitude 6.7.
