Myanmar to lift ban on news websites

The government in Myanmar says it is lifting a ban on news websites and people are now free to read information from home and abroad.

It's the latest sign the military regime is easing political restrictions.

Restrictions on a number of foreign websites, including YouTube, the BBC and Voice of America, have been lifted in recent days, although some residents say they are receiving intermittent service.
