A woman has been charged with kidnapping four mentally-handicapped adults who were found imprisoned in the basement of a house in Philadelphia, USA.
Linda Weston, 51, is accused of locking up the group while she claimed their social security cheques.
Two others, Gregory Thomas, 47, and Eddie Wright, 49, were also charged.
Police say identification documents they have found, suggest the fraud extended far beyond the four known victims. It has emerged that there may have been as many as 50 others.
The FBI is investigating whether there may have been more victims in other states.
The BBC reports Weston previously served a prison sentence for starving a man to death. She was sentenced in 1985 and spent eight years in prison.
