Another mafia boss arrested in Naples

Italian police say they have arrested an influential mafia boss in the southern city of Naples.

Luigi Esposito is believed to be high up in the Nuvoletta Camorra clan. He is one of Italy's 30 most wanted men and has been on the run since 2003, the BBC reports.

In 2006 he was convicted of drug-trafficking and associating with the mafia and sentenced to nine years in prison.

Police say Mr Esposito, 49, is the latest in a string of senior organised crime figures to be arrested recently in southern Italy.

Three brothers of the Camorra's Russo clan were arrested near Naples last week.
