Pakistan is being accused of playing a double game, with new evidence suggesting that the country is actively supporting the Taliban against US forces in Afghanistan.

The claims came to light a month ago when United States admiral Mike Mullen accused Pakistan's spy agency of supporting Afghan fighters.

Now several Taliban fighters have admitted they were trained in bomb-making by Pakistani officers.

The BBC reports that Pakistan denies the claims, while acknowledging it can do more to to prevent such groups from operating within its borders.
