A heavy snowstorm is forecast for the east coast of the United States this weekend.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning from Saturday morning into Sunday. Up to 25cm of snow is forecast.
The NWS said a region of low pressure brewing off the mid-Atlantic coast is expected to produce heavy, wet snow as it moves northeast.
