British broadcaster Jimmy Savile has died at the age of 84.
Savile's 40 year career on radio and television included music show Top of the Pops.
He also had a signature BBC programme Jim'll Fix It.
Savile had recently been hospitalised with pneumonia but the cause of his death is not yet known.
Police say there was nothing suspicious about the death, the BBC reports.
The broadcaster was noted for his charity work for which he was knighted by the Queen in 1990.
He ran more than 200 marathons for charitable organisations.
