Sleepers can't bear to be without without teddy

Nearly 10% of British adults still go to bed with their teddy bear, according to a survey commissioned by IKEA.

More than 70% of them believe they do not get enough sleep.

A poll of 3000 adults found 34% of British women blamed their partner hogging the duvet for their disturbed sleep and 54% were kept awake by snoring.

But women still seemed to get the better deal, with 21% regularly getting more than eight hours' sleep compared to 14% of men.

More than 50% polled blamed a poor mattress for their lack of sleep.
