Russia and India have signed an agreement to increase co-operation in the civilian use of nuclear energy.

The agreement was sealed during talks in Moscow between Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow.

The BBC reports the deal could significantly widen atomic fuel exports from Russia to India and will see more Russian-built reactors in India.
