Fifty six newspapers around the world are carrying the same editorial on Monday, calling for action at the Copenhagen climate change conference.
The editorial is in 20 languages. Work on the draft was led by The Guardian newspaper.
The UN Climate Change conference opened on Monday.
Guardian deputy editor Ian Katz says he began the project because it's hard to reflect the scale and urgency of the matter in regular newspaper stories.
He says there was skepticism from some editors to taking part, but the response has been positive since it's been published.
