Schoolies week on the Gold Coast of Queensland is over without any major incidents.
Police say the final night of celebrations was free of serious incident.
They say this year's revellers were the best-behaved yet, with arrest figures down on last year and well down on five years ago.
The ABC reports that up to 35,000 teenagers spent the week there celebrating the end of their schooling years. Most were expected to leave on Saturday.
Older schoolies from New South Wales and Victoria were due to take their place.
