Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap is to celebrate 60 years on stage by touring Britain.
The play, which has been in the West End since 1952, is the world's longest-running stage production.
It will celebrate its 60th birthday on 25 November 2012 with a gala performance. The UK tour begins on 11 September in Canterbury.
The BBC reports the London show will continue during the tour. In addition, 60 productions of The Mousetrap have been licensed worldwide.
Details of the domestic tour were announced on The Mousetrap's 59th birthday, before the play's 24,587th performance.
Since 1958, it has been the world's longest-running stage production.
