Thousands of villagers in the Philippines have been evacuated from their homes as more lava flows from the Mayon volcano.
Experts warn the crisis could go on for months.
An estimated 30,000 people living in the foothills have already been evacuated.
A government vulcanologist says at least five small explosions were detected on Wednesday.
Mayon is 330km south-east of the capital Manila. The BBC reports it has erupted 48 times since records began. The most recent eruption was in August 2006.
