Emmy award winning actor Harry Morgan - best known for playing Colonel Potter in MASH - has died at his home in Brentwood, California, from pneumonia.
Morgan, 96, had a long career in television, film and stage, including parts in series such as December Bride and Dragnet.
But it is for his role in MASH which ran for 11 years and 251 episodes, that he will be remembered.
