At least 30 suspected al-Qaeda members, possibly including two senior commanders, are reported to have been killed in an air raid in Yemen.
Officials there say they were planning attacks on Yemeni and foreign oil targets.
The air strike took place in a remote mountainous region of Shabwa Province, to the east of the capital, Sanaa.
Al-Qaeda has carried out frequent attacks in Yemen in recent months.
