A reformist website in Iran is reporting that security forces have clashed with supporters of the late Grand Ayatollah Hossein Ali Montazeri in the city of Zanjan.
Authorities have banned memorial gatherings for the dissident cleric in most parts of Iran.
The Jaras website says some people were injured and arrests were made when the security services intervened to enforce the ban in Zanjan.
