A man killed two Senegalese street vendors and wounded three people in a shooting spree in Florence, Italy, on Tuesday.
Witnesses said they saw the gunman get out of a car at a street market and then fire three shots that killed two vendors on the spot, and gravely wounded a third.
Afterwards, he moved to another market, where he wounded two more people before shooting himself.
Police named the man as Gianluca Casseri, 50, an author and a member of the Casa Pound group.
Mayor Matteo Renzi described the spree as the solitary gesture of a crazy killer.
