An Afghan soldier has shot dead two members of the French Foreign Legion in eastern Afghanistan.
The Legionnaires were taking part in a support mission with the Afghan army on Thursday in the Tagab valley.
It was also the second such incident in a week. Four American soldiers were shot and wounded by an Afghan soldier in western Farah province on 24 December.
