The Sunday Telegraph newspaper in Australia reports that All Black Sonny Bill Williams is to return to rugby league and will join the Sydney Roosters in the NRL in 2013.
The paper says a five year $A5 million dollar is close to being signed.
Williams is contracted to the New Zealand Rugby Union and will play for the Waikato Chiefs in this season's Super 15 competition.
He walked out on the Canterbury Bulldogs in 2008 to pursue a rugby union career.
