Iran says it has successfully carried out further missile tests near the Strait of Hormuz.
The tests are being seen as a show of strength, the BBC reports.
Iran's navy says on Monday it successfully test fired a surface to sea missile - a weapon designed for targets within the gulf, but not beyond.
The tests come a day after Iran fired a surface to air missile.
Iran says it will not disrupt shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, moderating a threat it made last week to close the busy international sea route if sanctions are imposed on its oil industry.
It has now conducted 10 days of exercises near the narrow channel, through which 20% of the world's oil passes.
