Eight NATO troops in Afghanistan have been killed during the last 48 hours.
In a statement, NATO said four solders were killed on Friday when a roadside bomb went off in southern Afghanistan. A fifth died in a separate incident.
On Thursday, three soldiers were killed by a roadside bomb.
More than 560 foreign troops were killed last year in Afghanistan.
