Chinese mayor urges brevity in one-hour speech

The southern Chinese city of Guangzhou is considering banning officials from giving long speeches at meetings.

Audience members in China are often caught dozing off.

In a 58 minute address to a local Communist Party session, the mayor of Guangzhou said speeches should be capped at an hour for key meetings.
