Twelve school chamber groups will compete for a taste of national glory at this weekend's NZCT Chamber Music Contest finals at the Michael Fowler Centre in Wellington.

Bridget Douglas, who is Principal Flute of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, is a former competitor in the contest and is now back judging this year's finalists. She speaks to Juliette Sivertsen about the pressure these young musicians are facing and how chamber music is crucial for a young musician's development.
