From Dylan to Xenakis

Bob Dylan is the inaugural Creative Laureate of the University’s Creative Thinking Project. In honour of this appointment, a student in the school’s Popular Music Programme, Michael Murray performed Dylan’s Masters of War.
Compositions of three other iconoclasts of 20th century music, Iannis Xenakis, John Cage and Cathy Berberian were performed along with the music of New Zealanders David Grahame Taylor, John Coulter, Lyell Cresswell and Eve de Castro-Robinson.
