Tess Jamieson grew up in Mahina Bay, Eastbourne before going on her gap 'year' after high school - the gap actually lasted five years. She returned from the UK in 2007 and entered the acting course at Toi Whakaari from which she graduated in 2010. Tess was accepted into the Emerging Performers Traineeship at Radio New Zealand Drama. Moana started singing at a young age at the Congregational Church of Samoa in Wellington. Today, Moana pursues a career in singing as a recording artist.
