Cheese Sauce for Snotty Green Vegetables
(Works on all of them)
- 50 g butter
- 50 g flour
- 750 mls milk
Melt the butter and add the flour, cook out to a sandy texture, slowly add the milk one ladel at a time (warming the milk first will help keep it lump free) until you have a good consistency, simmer gently for 5-8 mins (to cook the flour out) and then add a handful of cheese at the last moment, season to taste. Pour over anything that the kids don't like.
