Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
Ready in 30 minutes
- 40 large strawberries trimmed of any stalks
- 300g coverture chocolate (Valhrona chocolate)
- 100ml cream
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
Break the chocolate into bite-size pieces. Place in a bowl over a pan of gently simmering water. Allow the chocolate to melt and then remove from the heat, but leave the bowl over the warm water. Warm the cream in a small pan on a low heat, remove from heat and add to slightly cooled chocolate. Beat in the cream and butter until chocolate becomes thick and glossy.
Dip the tip of each strawberry into the melted chocolate. Twizzle each one to avoid any drips then place onto non-stick baking paper. Repeat with each strawberry, leave them to cool and harden before serving.
