Dates Stuffed with Blue Cheese and Prosciutto
- 12 fresh dates
- 150g blue cheese
- 6 paper thin slices prosciutto
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
Pre heat oven to 180°C.
Cut dates down the centre, not all the way through, and remove pip.
Divide the cheese into 12 pieces and place inside the dates.
Half each prosciutto slice, lengthways, and wrap each date with the prosciutto.
Place the dates on an oven tray, lined with greaseproof paper.
Drizzle the maple syrup over the stuffed dates and place in the oven for 5 minutes.
Remove from oven.
These gorgeous little treats can be served hot or cold, as a pass around or an entrée…. very versatile.
