Feta and Preserved Lemon Dip with Sesame Seeds

  • 150g feta
  • 3 preserved lemon quarters
  • 125ml sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds


Crumble the feta into a bowl. Flick out any seeds from the lemon slices, then dice them as finely as possible. Use a fork or small whisk to mix the feta and sour cream together as best as possible - it's fine to still have some lumps of feta remaining. Add the olive oil and continue stirring to incorporate. Finally, roughly chop the mint leaves, then stir them into the dip with the diced lemon. Scrape into a small bowl. Briefly toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan till lightly browned, then scatter over the dip.
