Perfect Fruit Salad
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons water
- juice of one orange, preferably NZ grown
- pulp of 1-2 passionfruit
- 1 large firm persimmon, quartered, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1 large nashi, quartered, peeled and cut into chunks
- 4 firm golden kiwifruit, peeled and cut into chunks
Put the sugar and water in a small saucepan and bring slowly to the boil to make a syrup. Pour into a large bowl, cool and add the orange juice and passionfruit pulp.
Prepare the persimmon, nashi and golden kiwifruit and add to the bowl. Stir gently and serve within a few hours.
