Wild Venison Hunters Hot Pot

  • 500g diced wild venison
  • ¼ cup flour 
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 beef stock cube
  • 1 med onion 
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 cup mixed veges
  • flour to thicken


Place meat and seasoned flour in a bag and shake to coat, shake off excess. Brown meat over a high heat in olive oil.  Dissolve stock cube in 1 cup water and place with meat in a casserole dish. Add chopped onion, crushed garlic and veges. Bake for 30-40 minutes until tender, thicken. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix together and cook for 3 hours, check and stir occasionally.
